Milestone Reached: $100+/ Month in Dividends

I just updated My Big Financial Picture page and noticed I am now enjoying $106 per month in average dividends.  This is great because I started my dividend investing activities last February and am already at this point!   Regardless of the impact Mr. Market has on my stock prices I will still receive dividend payments.

The Dividend Investing portfolio will continuously have smaller deposits, while large chunks get chipped away from my debt.

  1. AWESOME. Congratz man. Hitting that milestone feels great.

"Regardless of the impact Mr. Market has on my stock prices I will still receive dividend payments."
TRUTH. This is a key cornerstone to dividend investing.

  2. IE,

Congratulations! Really fantastic. Keep it up. Those reinvested dividends buy even more shares, which then pay out more dividends (which are rising), when then buy even more shares. It's a wonderful wealth building machine.

    Best wishes!

  3. Congrats on $100/mo. It's a great feeling to know you have that additional income each month they you don't have to work extra for now. The time it takes you to get to $200/mo should be even less with your larger dividends compounding.

    Take care!

  4. PMU, DM, AAI its been great following your blogs and celebrating your successes too. Its been difficult though with how tough it is to find good value in our current market. Today though marks the beginning good buying opportunities though. I knew the Fed would discuss their plans reducing QE and the markets tumbled today. Wait until they actually put their plan into action, and we'll find ourselves in a discount store of dividend champs. =)
